OUR HISTORY

With a degree in Business Administration from IPL-Leiria and 20 years of experience as an accountant, the founder followed her true passion for aromatic plants and essential oils—and turned it into a brand of handmade cosmetics produced in-house.

SM Cosmetology is a Portuguese brand based in Caldas da Rainha that has been dedicated to the development and production of natural, organic, and plant-based cosmetics since 2013.

With a specialization in Cosmetology from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Lisbon: four cohorts of the Advanced Cosmetology Graduate Program (2016–2019) and a Master’s degree in Advanced Cosmetology (2022), which underpin the scientific rigor behind each product.
