OUR HISTORY

With a degree in Business Administration from IPL-Leiria and 20 years of experience as an accountant, the founder followed her true passion for aromatic plants and essential oils—and turned it into a brand of handcrafted cosmetics with her own formulations.

SM Cosmetology is a Portuguese brand, headquartered in Caldas da Rainha, dedicated since 2013 to the development and production of organic, sustainable, cruelty-free, and vegan cosmetics.

She specialized at the University of Lisbon’s School of Pharmacy, earning a Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Cosmetology (2016) and a Master’s Degree in Advanced Cosmetology (2022), which underpin the scientific rigor behind each product.
