However, it can be beneficial to combine it with other products, such as a serum or a specific treatment. In this case, the Celeste balm is applied on top, as the last step, sealing in the active ingredients of the previous products.

Is the balm's thick texture suitable for oily or combination skin, or only for dry skin?

Celeste balm was specifically formulated for dry to very dry skin. Its rich texture and lipid composition make it less suitable for oily or combination skin, which tends to react better to lighter formulations.

How do I apply Celeste balm when it's used as an overnight mask — do I leave it on all night or remove it after some time?

When used as an overnight mask, Celeste balm is applied in a more generous layer to clean, dry skin, and left on overnight – no need to remove. This is known as a “sleeping mask”. During the night, the skin progressively absorbs the lipids, waking up smoother and more nourished. For even more effective results, combine with AOX hydrating serum or Precious serum.

Is Celeste balm suitable for sensitive or reactive skin?

A waterless, lipid-rich balm tends to be well tolerated by sensitive skin. However, tolerance always depends on each skin's individual reactivity. If you have sensitive or reactive skin, we recommend the Divine Face Cream, dermatologically tested on sensitive skin and with a lighter consistency.
