CHARACTERISTICS
D.Inês de Castro – the Posthumous Queen
Galician by origin, she came to Portugal in 1340, as a lady-in-waiting to D. Constança of Castile, fiancée of Infante D. Pedro.
D. Pedro and D.ª Inês fell in love almost immediately, beginning a clandestine love affair that would prove tragic.
After the death of D. Constança, Pedro and Inês assumed their relationship and went to live in the Palace attached to the Convent of Santa Clara, located next to Quinta das Lágrimas, ordered to be built by Queen D. Isabel, D. Pedro's grandmother.
D. Afonso IV, increasingly fearful of the consequences of this relationship for the future of the Kingdom of Portugal, ordered the death of D.ª Inês. Legend has it that her crying can still be heard in the gardens of Quinta das Lágrimas, eternally searching for Pedro, her lost love.
When he ascended the throne, D. Pedro swore that he had secretly married D. Inês, naming her Queen of Portugal.
He ordered the construction of two magnificent tombs in the Monastery of Alcobaça, where he transferred the body of his beloved Inês, in 1361, from the Monastery of Santa Clara.
“See what a fresh spring waters the flowers/What tears are the water and the name loves”
Water continues to flow from the Fonte dos Amores. The water flows from the same spring and with it the flowers in the medieval garden of Pedro and Inês are once again watered.

I love this oil. It keeps my skin hydrated and gives it a beautiful glow. And its smell is divine! I use the oil together with the Facial Balsam, which I use for the eye area. It keeps my face looking fresh and healthy.
I really like this oil. It hydrates my skin very well without leaving it greasy.
I love this oil. I don't let it end in my daily routine. I use it at night to deeply hydrate my skin (I have combination skin that tends to be oily on my forehead and nose, but sometimes it dries out due to the cold or external aggressions.
Very good! I recommend
